On Saturday, February 4, Chaminade held a Wines of the World Event for freshman parents in the Main Gymnasium. The evening included a buffet and wines from all over the world including Spain, Australia, Italy, France, Argentina, and the United States. The wines were provided by Hamptons Wine Shoppe and were made available later in the evening for purchase. Paul DeVerna, Proprietor of Hamptons Wine Shoppe, generously donated 50% of the net proceeds to the Chaminade TORCH Fund on the sale of the wine. The parents also saw a video that spoke about Chaminade and the TORCH Fund that supports the school’s mission.
